Plastics, mercury and petroleum are materials used in human activities that degrade our ecosystem and directly harm people's health. 

At WWF Peru we promote a cleaner and healthier future for the Amazon and Pacific landscapes. We support communities and authorities to improve the waste management and adopt sustainable solutions, and we encourage the global plastics treaty and other mechanisms to address this problem worldwide.

We promote the circular economy and recycling to ensure the sustainability and protection of the marine ecosystem in the Pacific, and we ensure the empowerment of fishing communities in the management of their resources.
